English: Jokhang Monastery - At the entrance of the temple there were four statues of protector Buddha, this is one of them. Past this point you are not allowed to take pictures but it was a highlight of my life that is very hard to explain. The place had a strong smell of yak wax candles burning, money was laying everywhere that was let as offerings, people in prayer to the various Buddhas, it was a world I had never seen before. People were smiling at me and as I was leaving a very old man smiled and gave me a handshake and a great smile that I will always remember. All I can say is what a place and it will be in my mind forever. Lhasa, Tibet
